The organizations was established some 30 years ago, with a clear vision and objective of revitalizing and enhancing the age-old Zulu tradition of handcrafts, which at the time were in danger of being lost forever. Sold indiviually.
Made of ilala palm by Ilala Weavers of South Africa, these large baskets in natural colors are a great accent to any decor. The baskets average 10" - 12" in diameter and approximately 4" -6" deep, ample for any fruit bowl. However sizes do vary and deeper baskets may be slightly smaller in diameter while flatter baskets tend to be larger in diameter. Patterns will vary as well.
